Safety
The job isn't finished
unless everyone goes
home safe.
Safety is an operating standard.
At Stony Mountain Group, safety is an operating standard. It starts before equipment moves or work begins and continues through planning, communication, hazard awareness and execution in the field.
Every person on the project has a responsibility to protect themselves, their coworkers, the client and the communities where we work.
Plan Before We Move
Safety starts before equipment reaches the site. We review the scope, site conditions, hazards and operational constraints so crews arrive prepared to work safely.
Communicate Clearly
Clear communication keeps a job site safe. Expectations, hazards and responsibilities are communicated so everyone on the project understands what safe execution looks like.
Individual Accountability
Every person on the project has a responsibility to protect themselves, their coworkers, the client and the communities where we work. Safety is everyone's job.
Execute and Follow Through
Safe execution continues through the work and into closeout. We finish the job properly and remain responsive when additional support is required.
